Living with a Toy Poodle
There's a reason the Toy Poodle tops Singapore's licensing charts year after year: a genuinely clever dog in a 4kg body, with a curly coat that barely sheds and a size that suits every HDB layout ever built.
Poodles are circus-smart — they learn tricks faster than you can invent them, and they'd rather be with you than anywhere else. That devotion means they do best in homes where someone is around most of the day, or where doggy daycare fills the gap.

Care notes
- Professional grooming every 4–6 weeks — the curls mat without it
- Daily play + a walk covers their exercise; brains need work too
- Small jaws need dental care early — chew routines from puppyhood
- Separation training from day one; velcro dogs need practice alone
Every family goes home with a written care plan — plus lifetime WhatsApp support for the 2am “is this normal?” questions.

Toy Poodle questions
Is the coat really hypoallergenic?
No dog is 100% allergen-free, but Poodles' tight curls trap dander instead of shedding it around your flat — most mildly allergic families do fine. Come cuddle Truffle for half an hour and see how you react; that's the honest test.
Toy vs Miniature — what's the difference?
Size only: Toys are under 28cm at the shoulder (~3–5kg), Miniatures a size up. Same brain, same coat. Toys are the easiest fit for HDB living, which is why ours are Toys.
