Living with a Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Corgis were bred to boss cattle around, and they have never forgotten it. Expect a quick-witted, opinionated little dog who learns routines instantly, announces the lift door with authority, and herds the family to the dinner table at seven sharp.
Their compact size makes them HDB-approved, but don't mistake short legs for low energy — a Corgi needs real walks, training games and puzzle feeders to stay civilised. Give them a job and they are magnificent; give them nothing and they will invent one.

Care notes
- Two proper walks daily plus brain games — smart breeds need work
- Sheds year-round with two heavy blows; weekly brush minimum
- Watch the waistline — long backs plus extra weight is a bad mix
- Early socialisation tames the herding nip around running kids
Every family goes home with a written care plan — plus lifetime WhatsApp support for the 2am “is this normal?” questions.

Pembroke Welsh Corgi questions
Are Corgis really OK in an HDB flat?
Yes — Pembroke Welsh Corgis are on HDB's approved list. The flat isn't the issue; the schedule is. Two daily walks and some training games keep a Corgi apartment-perfect.
Do Corgis bark a lot?
They're naturally vocal — it's the cattle-herder in them. Ours start 'quiet' cue training before they go home, and we'll show you how to continue it at your visit.
