Living with a Ragdoll
Ragdolls earned their name honestly: pick one up and it goes limp with happiness. They follow their humans from room to room, greet you at the door and firmly believe laps are load-bearing furniture. If you want a cat that acts like a gentle dog, this is it.
They stay kitten-hearted for years and take life at a placid pace, which makes them wonderful with children and other pets. Under Singapore's 2024 cat framework they're fully HDB-legal — up to two cats per flat, licensed and microchipped.

Care notes
- Twice-weekly brush keeps the silky coat mat-free (no undercoat, easy mode)
- Indoor-only, with mesh on windows — Ragdolls have zero street smarts
- Sturdy cat tree recommended; they're big cats who like low perches
- HCM heart screening on parents is essential — ask for the reports (ours are on file)
Every family goes home with a written care plan — plus lifetime WhatsApp support for the 2am “is this normal?” questions.

Ragdoll questions
Can I keep a Ragdoll in an HDB flat now?
Yes — since the 2024 cat management framework, HDB households can license up to two cats. We handle the microchip and licensing paperwork before Luna goes home, so you start fully legal.
Do Ragdolls really go limp when you hold them?
Most do — it's a relaxation reflex the breed is famous for. Luna is a textbook case. Book a visit and test it yourself; it never gets old.
