Living with a French Bulldog
Frenchies are professional companions: a ten-minute zoomie, a dramatic flop, then two hours of snoring against your leg. Their exercise needs are modest and their sense of humour is not — living with one is like sharing a flat with a small, affectionate comedian.
The breed's flat face demands responsible breeding. We pair only BOAS-assessed, clear-breathing parents and will show you both at your visit — if a Frenchie can't breathe easily, nothing else about it matters. In Singapore's heat they are strictly indoor, aircon-loving dogs with early-morning walks.

Care notes
- Walk before 9am or after 6pm — flat faces and midday heat don't mix
- Weekly fold-cleaning between the facial wrinkles prevents irritation
- Most Frenchies can't swim — pools and reservoirs need supervision
- Keep them lean; every extra 500g works the airway harder
Every family goes home with a written care plan — plus lifetime WhatsApp support for the 2am “is this normal?” questions.

French Bulldog questions
What is BOAS and why do you keep mentioning it?
Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome — the breathing trouble flat-faced breeds can inherit. Both our parent dogs hold clear BOAS assessments, and Mochi's litter was vet-checked for airway grade before listing. Ask to hear them breathe at your visit; quiet is the point.
Are French Bulldogs HDB-approved?
No — Frenchies aren't on the HDB list, so they suit condo and landed homes. HDB-friendly alternatives with similar low-exercise charm: our Toy Poodles or a British Shorthair kitten.
